Chorley-based decorative lighting specialist, Festive Lights, has undergone several exciting changes as part of a company rebrand. The award-winning family run company has always had the mission to brighten customers’ moods through the medium of twinkling lights, so the goal was to reinforce this by establishing a brand that reflects this passion for lighting.

A key motivator in the rebranding exercise was to emphasise the emotional connection that lighting brings in people’s homes throughout the year, along with the company’s focus on bringing joy through everything they do. They also wanted to recognise that they, just like the beautiful lights they offer, are not just for Christmas.

It’s not only the company’s ethos that has been revitalised as part of the rebrand, Festive Lights’ head office has also benefited from cosmetic improvements, which were recognised by The Lancashire Best Kept Village Awards in October 2018, in which they received the accolade of Commercial Premises of the Year.

The Big Celebration

To celebrate the rebrand, and to share the festive folks’ excitement, they’re giving away a trip for two to the Arctic Circle, where the winners will be able to take in the greatest lightshow on earth – the spectacular Northern Lights!

To enter, all people have to do is set up their new Festive Lights product, take a picture and post it on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook using the hashtag #ShareTheJoy. The competition runs until 16th December 2018.

Stephen Alty, Festive Lights’ general manager said: “The very essence of our brand is joy. It encapsulates everything we do; in a nutshell, we bring customers joy, and we wanted the brand to shout about this.”

“Everything about our massive new warehouse, crammed to the rafters with the latest in all year round decorative lighting, has been designed to make customers smile at every touchpoint, at every part of their journey, including product choice, availability, quality and price.”

“Teamed with a quality product offering, our customers have grown to know and love us for our consistently high levels of customer service, and they can certainly expect that same great service to continue, with a great big smile!”

From its Lancashire headquarters, the online retailer distributes to more than 30 countries globally, with Christmas being an incredibly important and exciting time. During the holiday season last year, the firm picked, packed and delivered over 88,000 parcels, and 2018 looks set to be another record breaking year.
