During one of the hottest weeks of the year so far, The Royal Albert Hall has announced its Christmas Schedule – now booking for 2018. Some traditions are not worth missing out on. Christmas at Royal Albert Hall production of The Nutcracker is one of them. This year it will be better than ever.

Birmingham Royal Ballet brings its particularly made form of this Christmas artful dance back to the Royal Albert Hall. This captivating creation wowed gatherings of people with its staggering setting, fantastic outfit pieces and bewitching Tchaikovsky score – it is beyond question the quintessential Christmas treat for all the family.

The marvelous organizing has been made particularly for the Royal Albert Hall with amazing lighting, projection and dazzling period ensembles, and is performed by Birmingham Royal Ballet’s reality class artists and a full symphony.

We join Clara in the Victorian setting of her family home. As midnight strikes, the Christmas tree develops and Clara’s nutcracker doll and his troop of soldier toys wake up for a tremendous fight. Clara is cleared away through a winter wonderland of moving snowflakes including to the kingdom of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
