Quick & Easy: Cardboard Tube Santa & Snowman
We love this quick and easy kids Christmas craft, and this is a super quick and cute craft that can you can do anytime with basic supplies that you already have on hand. I don’t know about your house, but around here we have dozens of leftover cardboard tubes, from toilet paper, from paper towels, they make the easiest base for a quick and simple kids Christmas craft. I sat down with my daughter to make these adorable Santas and Snowmen and it only took about a half an hour total.
The Supplies you’ll need are super simple. Just some used Cardboard Tubes (if you have long ones, cut in half), a pen or pencil, glue stick (or tape), dark marker, red construction paper and scissors.

This kids Christmas craft is so easy, I literally let my four-year-old do all of the work.
First, measure and cut the construction paper to fit the cardboard roll.
Then, draw your ‘brick’ or block pattern with horizontal and alternating vertical lines.
Next, draw and cut out Santa’s Trousers and boots. (You can use black paper for the boots, or simply colour them in as we did).
Glue the brick pattern to the roll, and the boots to the trousers
Glue the tousers to the roll, and voila! Santa’s stuck in the Chimney!
For the snowman you’ll simply need slightly different supplies, use orange construction paper (or an orange marker) for the nose, and red tape or ribbon for the scarf.
