Clearly they know they’re on to something. Hallmark has announced that they’ll be premiering four new Summer-themed films in their new programming block called ‘Countdown to Summer’. Four is a far cry from the 30 that they’re planning for Christmas, but nevertheless it seems like they know they’ve got an audience for a brand new Countdown series.

Paris, Wine & Romance

Isabella is the ambitious new owner of her family’s Oregon winery whose dream of becoming world-renowned takes a big step forward when she enters a prestigious wine competition in Paris. Upon arrival, Isabella meets her biggest competitor, Jacques, from one of the world’s foremost winemaking families. Impressed by Isabella and her expertise in wine, a budding romance develops between them. However, as the results as the competition are announced, Isabella believes Jacques badmouthed her wine. Hurt, she returns home. When Jacques discovers what upset her, he seeks to win her back, even if it means leaving behind his beloved winery. Starring Jen Lilley and Dan Jeannotte.

A Feeling of Home

Web entrepreneur Abby hides her Texas roots to convince a backer she’s from New England, a task complicated by a trip home and an unexpected reunion with Ryan, her high school sweetheart. Starring Jonna Walsh, Nathan Parsons.

Sailing into Love

Biology teacher Claire is a bridesmaid and conducts a class on Blue Island. Claire takes action when she learns her former boyfriend works for the developer building a resort on Blue Island. Starring Leah Renee and Chris McNally.

Love in the Sun

A dating app creator finds her views on love challenged when she returns home to Florida and reconnects with her high school sweetheart. Starring Emeraude Toubia and Tom Maden.
