The first of those adverts has appeared...

So let the raucous sleigh bells jingle,
Hail our dear old friend kris kringle,
Driving his reindeer across the sky.
Don't stand underneath when they fly by.

A famous Christmas ballet performance will take place in November in my city and the commercials have already begun.
A must see, I would say.

And so, as Tiny Tim observed, "God Bless us!! Everyone!!''

A friend of mine posted on facebook a little story about the elf on the shelf. Also saw two ads in the paper - one for a Thomas Kinkaid Christmas tree and the other for a Disney Christmas clock. Just think, Christmas in July on QVC is only 6 weeks away!

More ads for Thomas Kinkade Christmas products and more elf-on-the-shelf Facebook postings

Was just browsing on-line - Hallmark's 2014 Dream Book. Ornaments are beautiful, as usual. The series ornaments I purchase every year are:

Fairy Messenger - Daffodil Fairy (10th in series) page 40
Madame Alexander - Wendy Celebrates 90th Anniversary (19th in series) page 40
Puppy Love - (24th in series) page 49

Tink - you may be interested in the Tinkerbelle ornaments on pages 58 and 59

They have several ornaments based upon Rudolph, Frosty, Polar Express, Wizard of Oz, A Christmas Story The Grinch, etc. I am not too fond of the ornaments that are Sports, Car, or Science fiction related
