Couldn't you maybe go with them ChristmasFairy? So you wouldn't be all alone during Christmas?

Not possible SB ... but being on my own doesn't bother me in the slightest ....

It's just that it'll be so strange that's all (as it will be a first) with no one around in the lead up to Christmas and no actual Christmas Day Celebrations spent at our home with family and all the family traditions of breakfast, opening presents, Christmas dinner etc.

Oh Christmas Fairy. I know the feeling, although it's not quite the same. I have had a big Christmas Eve get-together for family every year for the past 30 years. This year my sister-in-law is having a big going away party for my nephew (he is being deployed to Afghanistan) on December 22nd with a snow date of Dec 23rd - so that will be the day the family gets together. It will just be my husband and two daughters (unless they each end up with their boyfriends families) on the Eve. Sad that things have to change, but it's inevitable as you get older!
