Slept well, ran a few errands, folded some laundry and got some bad news. A friend's daughter (she is also my sister-in-law's niece) only 18 years old, had a blood vessel in her brain burst, about a week ago. She was in the ICU and has just been released from the hospital in Alabama where she went to college. She can no longer read, write or even correctly identify objects. They will be taking her to a specialist in NYC as soon as they get home. Please pray for her. My poor sister-in-law is also dealing with her Mom's (the girl's grandma) bad health. She has had 3 small strokes and a bad fall in the past 2 weeks. Health-wise this has been a horrible year in our extended family!
