    I dare you!

Go on! The time is nigh! Put out an exterior christmas decoration! You know you want to....
So let the raucous sleigh bells jingle,
Hail our dear old friend kris kringle,
Driving his reindeer across the sky.
Don't stand underneath when they fly by.

Autumn decs? That's new to me! Anyway I was in Poundland yesterday, and there was more christmas stuff out. I couldn't help myself, I bought a battery-operated fibre optic mini christmas tree and put it in my window last night.

The family directly across the street hung their lighted wreath and put a Christmas tree and candle lantern on the porch. I was surprised. When I went for a walk around 5:00 pm I saw that their neighbors had a Christmas tree in the living room and the lights were plugged in. Unbelievable!

The greatest gift I ever received was wrapped in swaddling clothes.

Today was the annual Christmas Pageant .... so as is customary with most folks here .....

Go to the parade, hit the shops (which usually have a good discount for today only on Christmas trim), go home and decorate !!!

I watched a bit of the Pageant on TV .... but no decorating yet !!!
