poll reveals that people like christmas much more than halloween

I did a yahooo answers poll "Which do you look forward to more? halloween or Christmas?" and 66 percent answered yes or definitely to christmas while the rest said "both" which means none indicated 'only' halloween and all were in favor of christmas. another poll indicates 80 percent for christmas and 20 percent for halloween. this explains why plenty of stores like sears, lowes, canadian tire, rona, bombay ect skip much or all of halloween while, those that do do halloween never skip christmas although that is obvious.

that is true. it has grown a lot in importance and it will likely grow more, though christmas probably will remain the most important in my lifetime thanks to the fact it is considered to have it's own "season". if halloween grows more popular, i imagine christmas will even more. i have a new halloween/christmas poll and it's even better. christmas got 86 percent of votes. go christmas!
