Is anyone planning a vacation this year?

Mike's absolutely right. It's about 6 hours(including some stops) to Paris and I estimate 12 hours to the Italian border. But for us it's a very long(and expensive) way to The America's. One of my big travelhopes is visiting yellowstone one day.

Yellowstone is a beautiful and amazing place! I know it's very easy for you guys to get around Europe quickly. That makes me jealous! There are still relatives of my father's in Italy that I would love to meet! My Dad was born in Abruzzi, Italy but came to the US when he was 3!

My Mom and I just decided to take a day bus trip to Seneca Falls NY on August 16th. Seneca Falls is most likely Frank Capra's inspiration for Bedford Falls - George Bailey's Hometown! They have an "It's a Wonderful Life" museum and events. I wish I could go there in December when they have plays and other special events. Last year they had the actresses who played Janie and ZuZu Bailey. Seneca Falls is also home to the National Women's Hall of Fame and apparently has some unique shopping areas! I was there once before - about 15 years ago- so I'm anxious to see the changes and new attractions!

Im really happy for all of you, wish I could afford a vacation, this year. It sounds like a dream..
