    Decorating on a Budget

This lady has a small Christmas tree in her dining room and she changes the decorations for different holidays:

The greatest gift I ever received was wrapped in swaddling clothes.

I have heard of this before - someone I used to work with did that. Here is another unique decorating method - My sister's ex-mother-in-law used to keep the inside of a wooden cabinet decorated for Christmas. The day after Thanksgiving, she would simply open the cabinet doors and her Christmas decorating would be done.

Wow! The cabinet is a wonderful idea! I don't have one but I could open it whenever I wanted to refresh my Christmas memories.

For me, a huge part of the enjoyment comes from the actual decorating. I don't consider it tedious. The longer it takes, the longer I get to enjoy it.

Sorry...I see this is actually supposed to be an Easter thread. Didn't mean to get off topic. We are putting up our Easter window clings this afternoon.

Oh, I wasn't thinking that I could get out of decorating. I just love looking at Christmas decorations year round; but I can look at photos online, I guess.

And, as I get a few more Easter decorations, I can have fun in the spring!
