    Fire

It's kind of funny, but one year I was leaning over the Advent candles and caught my hair on fire. Sizzle, sizzle. I ran to the bathroom and splashed water on it, but it had stopped burning.

Wow, that could have been worse. I'm glad it went out on its own for you.

I could hear a crackling noise as the flame reacted with my hairspray! Only one of the grandchildren saw what happened and she didn't know what to say or do. But now it's kind of a funny story.

LOL! I'm thinking about those battery-operated advent candles because two of the grandchildren are toddlers. In fact I've been buying lots of battery operated candles.
