Even though it is not exactly about Christmas, the atmosphere and Christmas joy the film brings is irreplaceable. It's a masterpiece, too.

Don't watch it with your kids, though. Definitely those who are 16 years and up, but it is a great film.

Funny...in no way, shape or form do I consider that a Christmas film. Interesting how differently people can perceive things.

Yeah, not a Christmas film by any means, but it feels very Christmassy. The late night streets with the colouring and whatnot - just beautifully shot from Master Kubrick and his crew.

i have to agree it does not instill me with the joy and excitement of the season as Die Hard Does.

I agree about EWS and Die Hard. They are not Christmas films, but do have a Christmas setting.

By the way, I always enjoy EWS.
