Two years ago (I think) I won this set on eBay:



Today I ordered a creche for the figures.

Nice set,- MW. I have two sets. I small set with plastic figures that I bought MANY years ago (at least 35 yrs). My daughter sets that up in her room. We lost one of the wisemen - then he suddenly reappeared after 7 or 8 years. My main set is a ceramic set - about 25 years old! I like to add real hay to the creche

I had a set like this one in 1969, but I gave it to our pastor's wife in 1981 because I had a new set made of wood. Well, after I had the one made of wood, I bought a Heartwood Creek set by Jim Shore. So now I have three sets. This plastic set from eBay is small so I'll probably put it at the base of our main Christmas tree. The new tree still hasn't come.

That's funny about the wiseman! It sounds like things that happen to me.

I forgot to tell you that I have a bag of hay in the container with my plastic nativity set. I was going to use it last year, but I couldn't find a creche.

My new little creche arrived this morning. I've removed the gold star so that I can hang the angel there at the peak of the roof.

I always put my angel on the roof and she always falls off - behind the furniture. This year I will take the time to tape her down then hide the tape with hay!
