Thinking about the massacre in Aurora, Colorado and how my cousin is a firefighter in Aurora! My Uncle Bob is retired firefighter. He and my two cousins live in the Aurora area and one lives right in Aurora! (There is always something going on in my family) We didn't hear about this right away because we were busy with my Brother-in-law's funeral - then came home to this horrible news.

So unbelievably tragic, just utterly unbelievable!!!

It's more a case of what's OFF my mind today. I've just returned Titch, a lovable but lively Jack Russell cross (I believe you call them Rat Terriers in the US) back to my neighbours after looking after him fo a week while they were on holiday. Though he was quiet and well-behaved it is a load off my mind not to have to constantly supervise him. It reinforces the saying that "A dog is for life - not just for Christmas".
