I'm not really one for hopes and wishes as such. I'm a 'if it happens it happens' kind of person.
But if I could wish something it would be my hubby wouldn't get any worse in health but
that ain't going to happen..

Oh, and it snow on Christmas Day...

I hope we have a White Christmas - we didn't last year, so that would be great.

I also hope that I'll be able to take my Boyfriend Christmas-Tree Hunting - he's never chopped down his own tree and it's an experience I'd like to give him! :D

I hope that my job continues to go well. Remember, last year I was laid off the week before Thanksgiving. I pray that we all have good health for the holidays. I never want to celebrate Christmas with colds or flu. It's weird, if the boys get colds in early to mid-December, I always think it's awesome because that means they should be over it by Christmas!!

It's weird, if the boys get colds in early to mid-December, I always think it's awesome because that means they should be over it by Christmas!!

I have thought the same thing about illnesses when the kids were small. I remember one year my sister and her daughter (age 3) flew in from Seattle for Christmas. On Christmas Eve the two of them got so sick from some virus they picked up on the plane that it put a damper on Christmas - my niece slept thru the whole day on Christmas.

I feel a little strange thinking about Christmas this year. I am feeling excited but a little emotional too. You see this year it's going to be the first Christmas without my dad. Also my mom is leaving next month for an extended visit to my sister in Wisconsin so I won't have either of my parents here...For the first time ever.
