Very busy, I'm getting ready to take a little holiday

Here you go..

100g butter
100g caster sugar
125ml treacle
1 egg yolk
250g sifted plain flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp ground nutnug

In a large bowl cream together the butter, sugar until smooth. Stir in treacle and egg yolk. Combine flour,baking powder, bicarb, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and nutmeg, blend into the treacle mixture until smooth.
Cover and chill for an hour at least.
Preheat oven to 180C, then slightly flour your surface, roll out dough to about .5cm thickness.
Cut to your desired shapes.
Place shapes on an ungreased baking tray(s).
Bake for 8-10 mins in the oven until firm to the touch .
Cool and decorate..
