I met up with an old friend today but it was a little disapointing to be honest. We were inseparable in college but our lives went in separate directions when I got married and settled into family life and he went to University at the other end of the country, then joined the RAF. We still kept in touch on facebook and text, but hadn't seen each other in person since my wedding 4 years ago. He was on leave today and visiting family nearby so we met up for lunch... but it was just AWKWARD. We're both different people now and we had NOTHING in common. I don't think we'll be seeing each other again to be honest

Day.....good one

Night....slept a bit better than last night..

Today I woke up and cleaned up outside. That meant taking everything out of my garage, cleaning it up and putting everything back in.

Then I played some tennis. So yeah, pretty good day so far, but rather tired (cleaning & lifting for three and a half hours hurts).

Tonight? I shall watch the latest episode of Breaking Bad, watch another episode of The Wire (rewatch) and then go to bed.
