Is it the anticipation of christmas or the actual experience?

That you like the most? For me it's the anticipation as often the actual day is a bit of a dull let-down.
So let the raucous sleigh bells jingle,
Hail our dear old friend kris kringle,
Driving his reindeer across the sky.
Don't stand underneath when they fly by.

Both for me....i love the build up and the organising and making things. But the actual day etc is just amazing!! Having all my family giving presents and hanging out with each other i love. Also the big christmas dinner and desserts i look forward to all year.

For me it's the build up too the big day, as all mine children are grown up but
they still like to have a lovely Christmas day with the family.
    Merry Christmas to all...

yes, that's also true for me, anticipation is always special, waiting and buying presents but the actual day can also be great, unfortunately pass so quickly and then it somehow became dull sometimes.
When it seems the magic slipped away...
We find it all again on Christmas Day

I also think the anticipation and build up is more exciting for me, and once the day is here it's just kind of like... oh, it's over. But I love the day, too haha.

I definitely love the anticipation, but Christmas eve/Christmas day is amazing as well! The only time I get disappointed is around 8:00 christmas day because I know it's coming to a close.
