Neither am I. DH spent several years living in (at the time) W. Germany and by default he loves German wines. I just drink what he buys.

My dad makes this KILLER cider. It's two parts apple juice, one part cranberry juice, 3 cinnamon sticks and a sliced up orange. Simmer for an hour before serving. Lots of taste-testing, of course, to make sure it's right. If it's too sweet, add a bit of water till it's right.
