Help! I may have to deputise for Father Christmas!
I need advice!
This weekend my sister is organising a Christmas party for the village children but the Santa she had organised has been taken ill with Norovirus. I may need to deputise BUT I'm already known to many of the kids and there can be no disguising my ice-cube lensed spectacles, and I can't manage without them!
If no other stand-in santa can be found should the kid's Christmas presents be left at each place setting or should I distribute the presents and explain that due to the weather, and there being so much to do a t the North pole, Santa has asked me to help him out this year?
Or if you can come up with a better cover story I'd like to hear it.
So let the raucous sleigh bells jingle,
Hail our dear old friend kris kringle,
Driving his reindeer across the sky.
Don't stand underneath when they fly by.
