Gift for Percussionist
Recipient is a college-age percussionist who specializes in drumline, mallets, drumset, hand drumming (pretty much everything)
Have three choices:
Zildjian Cymbal Clock

Cool looking non-instrument gift. Drawback is some percussionists HATE Zildjian Brand and I'm not sure how he feels about this brand.
Meinl African Talking Drum

A fun and rare world drum. Would be great to play, but will be a little tricky to get use out of (as not many performing groups would have a need for a Talking Drum)
Hugh Tracey Kalimba

His first love is the marimba and I could NEVER afford one of those. This would be a less expensive keyboard substitute. However, it is played completely differently (with your thumbs), so it might not be as fun for a strictly mallet player. Also, you would definitely not be able to play this in any performing group.
Which gift would YOU like the most?

I'd like the talking drum. Even if I don't get that much use out of it, I like to have rare or unique things.
What about a custom t-shirt or something. It's a useful gift and if certainly unique.
Merry Christmas
