Odd Names of Real People
Share some odd names from your family tree.
Here's one I ran across on my tree:
Icy Ann Frost, Married William McBride, May 18, 1830.

Icy was the daughter of Capt. John Frost who was the son of Ebenezer Frost, Sr.

George Washington Keyes (we all know who he was named after). He was a great-great-great grandfather.
My grandfather was Ladette Muncy. Has anyone ever heard of the name Ladette? His nickname was Dett.
On my Dad's side of the family the names are all Italian which may be odd for us - but not for them - Aldovino (my Dad), Dominico, Vito, Francesca, Rocco, Annunziata, etc.

over the past few hundred years, not a few of my female ancestors were named Mehitabel or some variation of the spelling. I also had a great or great great grandmother who's name was Bertha Trinkle. I always thought that name sounded funny.
