Id have to say my homemade fudge that I usually only make at christmastime, Cella Cherries, and Lindt chocolate!
It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Homemade Divinity with nuts, Christmas is the only time I make it.
Love ribbon candy!
@Snowden, what is Homemade Divinity with nuts?
@Kam, what are Cella Cheries?
About my own holiday snacks
The funny thing with this is that I do not like Dutch Cuisine that much, but I do like Dutch snacks and sweets. My favourite holiday stuff is all traditionally Dutch.
My top 3
Chocolateletters. And then the ones with hazelnuts or the ones with filling. They are actually associated with Sinterklaas(St nicholas day on 5th december and the weeks prior to that,) but my mom always buys hazelnutones for everyone for under the Christmas Tree.
And Speculaasbrokken(translation:Speculaas pieces) also a St. Nicholas day treat in origin, but in general people eat it all through the winter. You have to break pieces of it That with hot chocolate is heaven. I dip it in the hot chocolate.
And like Lily said: Arretjescake. It's super simple to make and really sweet and yummy and Christmassy
