I love the ribbon candy that comes boxed..I've seen it sold at eckerds...kmart..walgreens. For candy to make I always make my buckeyes & peppermint bark & toffee bark every year. I have the recipes if anyone wants them..
Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen. Merry Christmas from my home to yours.

The peppermint bark sounds yummy! I try to make home made goodies for gifts every year- that might be a good one. I would love the recipe!

I love peppermint bark. I usually find it at dollar tree and buy several boxes. but homemade would taste better.

    Peppermint bark/brittle

    INGREDIENTS:
    2 pounds white chocolate
    30 small peppermint candy canes

    DIRECTIONS:
    1. Line a large jellyroll pan with heavy-duty foil.
    2. Place white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in microwave on medium setting for 5 to 6 minutes. Stir occasionally, until chocolate is melted and smooth.
    3. Place candy canes in a plastic bag, or between two pieces of waxed paper. Using a mallet or rolling pin, break the candy canes into chunks. Stir peppermint into melted white chocolate. Spread evenly in pan, and chill until set, about 1 hour. Break into pieces by slamming pan on counter.
Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen. Merry Christmas from my home to yours.

:gingerbread: The Holiday M & M's are here

I seen them at walmart 2 1# bags for $6 but they only had plain ones not my favorite with peanuts. I want the peanut ones to make Santa trail mix and HO HO HO Hash with . I am not sure whether or not I will have the money to make both but I am going to try. I have to save money back for my fruits.

My favorite Christmas candy is chocolate covered pretzels (do they count?), chocolate liquor beads and chocolate covered marzipan. But, the candy I associate most with Christmas is ribbon candy (even though I'm not wild about it). We always had it growing up. Good memories.
