Thanks for all the comments Well I spent the weekend taking down the big tree. It took about 12 hours. I wish it would take that long to put it up lol. I was very happy with the first year of the new 12 foot tree. It was a lot of work but was well worth it. I have already picked up more items for the tree as well as more lights on boxing day. I went the purple tree up and a few other indoor lights as we enter the dog days of winter. I also left 2 potted Christmas connected that will be on until late March.

Now I am waiting for the electrical bill to see how much damage I did for my first Christmas in the new house. It is only going to get worse this Christmas Lol

Hello to all you Christmas lurkers out there. I got my hydro bill that covered Nov 25th to Feb 1st and it was $350 so the Christmas lights expense was much less than expected.

Wow - my gas and electric bill is $300 every month! I'm not sure what the US-Canada exchange rate is but...
