Jordan the big tree is located in the livingroom which I have not bought any furniture for as of yet. The kitchen and family rooms are a good distance away and those are the rooms where my wife and I spend the most amount of time. I would have really loved it if that tree was visable from there. My neighbours that live in front of me to right called me over a couple of days ago to show me the view that they have of the tree from their living room which is located in the second floor of their house. The tree is in full view and shimmers from that distance because of all the twinkle lights. At least someone is getting to really enjoy the tree this year

Yeah, hopefully they weren't calling on you to complain about the tree being too bright!

I have found that once someone starts that others will follow. Years ago we were the only ones and little by little more and more people did. Now I don't do much outside and many do.

Thanks NCD I still have not started to take down the big tree. My wife wants me to leave it up Lol. I have started to take the other trees down except for the purple tree which I will leave up until the end of March. I usually leave it up along with some other lights tp brighten up the place until winter is over.
