A bit of a weird one, coming from a vegetarian, but my Christmas smell would have to be TURKEY. I'll always remember the smell of it roasting in the mornings when we'd come downstairs to open our stockings. Even now, as I've been a vegetarian for 10 years, the smell still makes me feel Christmasey inside!

Maybe, not a great smell, but, I do not know, there is just something happenning when opening the boxes every November..
A smell, that I can not explain..

YES! I know just what you mean. I can't wait to get mine down from the loft

    The dry smell of cold...
So let the raucous sleigh bells jingle,
Hail our dear old friend kris kringle,
Driving his reindeer across the sky.
Don't stand underneath when they fly by.

Oh, coal and soot! The smell when my mum used to stoke the fire up for that first time in the early winter... Ahh

That warm, fuzzy, Summer feeling, and the smell of the packed Christmas tree!
