Yes Tia. It's sometimes a struggle to get it done before it turns bitter cold - which is usually by Thanksgiving! Once it freezes or snows, the leaves are so difficult to get up. Besides, at that point, I want to start doing the outside Christmas decorations!!

Unfortunately, we have several gigantic oak trees in the area and they tend to hold onto their leaves much longer than the other trees. So the cleanup takes forever!

Maybe I'll take and post a few photos this year! I'm sure to get some sympathy!

I had a photo assignment once about "Fall colors". It was so easy to do, it was beautiful every way I looked. (the following photo is not one of mine, although I have one just like it). I love Fall colors.

Fall colors are just so beuaitful. In Germany you can see now orange red dark green and brown. I love it. Most leaves are falling down now.

I just read an article saying that the fall colors here in the northeastern US are not supposed to be as brilliant as usual. This is due to the fact that we had an extremely hot, dry summer and are now having a warm, breezy autumn. Just the opposite of what is needed for beautiful colors!! Darn!!
