    Happy autumn equinox!

Like a cyclist who reaches the top of a hill and is about to coast down the other side, now comes the point where things gather momentum...
So let the raucous sleigh bells jingle,
Hail our dear old friend kris kringle,
Driving his reindeer across the sky.
Don't stand underneath when they fly by.

    Happy autumn everyone
When it seems the magic slipped away...
We find it all again on Christmas Day

Love the autumn - except for raking leaves (which I won't have to do this year!)

We never rake leaves. I just love seeing them on the ground everywhere .

We have no choice. The leaves overwhelm us! We are in a heavily treed area- with an undeveloped "forest" across the street. Also, the wind blows in such a way that all the leaves in the western section of the neighborhood end up and stay in our yard!!! Our leaves cover our entire yard and can be measured in feet, not inches!

Aren't you relieved when all the leaves are gone?
