    ...and I live in a hole...

    Guy Fawkes Night, the 5th of November.

    Those of you in the UK will understand what I mean, like Halloween it sneaks up on you and is a waypoint to Christmas. I love to see and hear the fireworks!
    So let the raucous sleigh bells jingle,
    Hail our dear old friend kris kringle,
    Driving his reindeer across the sky.
    Don't stand underneath when they fly by.

    We did a few fireworks last year, but it gets rather expensive after you start

    buying all the stuff. But at least you know that christmas is not far after..

    Not to appear too stupid, but can you explain the significance of this day? Who is Guy Fawkes?
