hi,never know what to write as in intro,was looking 4 ideas to make my own tree decorations,then thought it would be a good idea to join a forum,as im sure you all have plenty of ideas. as for my favorite part of xmas it starts at xmas eve. as a family we take it in turns to host the xmas eve meal, then we light the fire and read xmas stories,poems etc,then stockings go up & we head of to bed just before midnight ready 4 santa. Then on the day itsself we vote a santa to give out gifts & we make the the gifts last alday so not a moment gets wasted. in between we eat lunch,talk & joke of xmas past & plans 4 the year to come. i must add its a large family which helps the day last. cant think of what else to say. Except i look foreward to getting to know you all x

Feels great new members are joining the place, were all looking forward to getting to know you and of course we'd love to share with you anything that has to do our fav season..

Greetings

I am new here and am amazed to have found this forum. I happened upon it while doing a search for "uses of angel hair". Anyhow I though I was the only Christmas Decoration/Tree Fanatic.

I absolutely LOVE Vintage Aluminum Christmas Trees, in fact my kid brother jokes that I have such a collection including the original one that we had as kids.
In 1963 when my Mom first got the tree she loved it, we kids hated it so naturally is was bearly used and in great condition when I decided to put it up in 2007.

Anyhow I look forward to sharing and getting to know some of you.

, Babbo! That's great that your old tree was in such good shape. We never had one as kids, but I knew a lot of people that did. They are so nostalgic now.
