Well, today i realice that my nochebuenas (known as poinsettias y other countries) are beginning to sprout, a little earlier i think so, maybe they want to start celebrating from now and this happens every year. Domestic or retail displays?
IMO retail should start in October, domestic from December.
So let the raucous sleigh bells jingle,

I was in Walmart today. The back to school items are coming down and Halloween decorations are now up. Christmas stuff will go up in early October and then be extended once the Halloween stuff comes down! Thanksgiving is a big holiday, but is not really one we decorate for, so that has no impact!
