I love and celebrate the changing seasons and I especially love autumn. It is spectacular here in West Virginia. I came across this quote years ago. I don't know the source but I love it:

Here we are again with summer nearly halfway over. I've only been to the beach maybe 2-3 times!

I can't wait for the crisp fall air!

here is still summer and many tourists in my place and nearby, beaches are full and weather is nice, not too hotcan't wait for Autumn and chestnuts

I just wish that we could have a proper Fall followed by a cold and snowy Winter. Is that too much to ask?

Still summer here! Usually starts to get cooler in late August!

Yeah...seems weird to say here in Minnesota (Land of Perpetual Winter), but there is still plenty of warm weather left. We don't start to feel the chill of Fall until mid-Sept. However, I still get excited around Labor Day. That is kind of the "unofficial" start to Fall as kids go back to school.
