I've noticed a couple commercials (or Adverts -- I'm starting to learn the lingo!) on TV and driving past the Strip Mall (a number of stores lined up against one another with a communal overhang and sidewalk) today I saw that they had already decorated the trees and hung Wreaths and Garland from the storefronts.

All our shops are doing christmas stuff and the tv is awash with christmas
adverts....but I still haven't caught the coca-cola one yet, so it's not
the start of christmas until I do.........

Wrapped presents yesterday, while listening to cd of choirs singing Christmas carols,also doubled checked the lights again to make sure they are workingand even wrote a heap of Christmas cards, ready for posting[not yet though].
