I found on the internet that in the late 90's when Woolworth went bankrupt, the European(or only German?) division went on independently and has about 150 stores in Germany according to their website. I had never been to one, before last week haha.

I've noticed more of the in-store christmas shops appearing as well as the charity christmas gift sites.

So let the raucous sleigh bells jingle,
Hail our dear old friend kris kringle,
Driving his reindeer across the sky.
Don't stand underneath when they fly by.

Arrrrgh!os have their christmas catalogue out, but there isn't much christmassy in it. Marks and Spencer have opened their christmas shop sections but again, things are very thin on the ground this year...

Have been getting a Christmas catalog in the mail almost every day now. Also - commercials on TV, especially for layaway purchases. Alot of stores have some Christmas items for sale, but haven't decorated the stores/mall yet.

why I have feeling that this year everything is coming later in the market?
When it seems the magic slipped away...
We find it all again on Christmas Day
