Our plans for Christmas 2010

Plans for next Christmas? Why not?

We have all the time to be prepared for next Christmas, just as long as we are in the mood to do it..
Honestly, when Christmas days were over, I got depressed for about 2 weeks, but now Im just fine..
This year, Im looking for some fresh ideas for my decoration.. I ve already started looking ideas for how to make wooden ornaments on my own..
A friend showed me some magazines with great ideas and very simple.. Just need time, patience and love for that.. Ill post photos when I start my first.

This year, I want my tree to be full of toys and wooden ornaments, not balls..
I intend, for the first time in my life, to use only multi lights, just for a change.. And Im sure, with all these toys the tree will look even more beautiful....

I have in mind to make some shelves (a really small library), near the tree, with only Christmas books on, so we can sit in grandma's chair (see the picture in my album) and read our book..
Wouldnt be that wonderful?

Now and almost every day, Im just surfing on Internet for anything that has to do with Christmas and keep my notes..
Last Friday I bought a new Christmas shower curtain, only with 4!!!!! $!!

From next week, Im starting refreshing my Christmas DVDS, so Im also looking for movies I do not know and would like to have..
I havent stopped blogging about Christmas, I still do and I havent stopped listening to my Christmas songs, I still look for new Christmas albums I dont have and then suggest them on my blog and site...

Some of you may think Im crazy, but, honestly, I could not live without Christmas...

Any plans guys???

I have to admit, my kitchen needs some extra decoration this Christmas..
I only have an advent calendar and 3 towels with penguins...

No, I'm pretty traditional about my decorations - never change much!

Olga, I don't think you are crazy! I am still listening to my Christmas music and my kids think I am crazy. My husband knows it makes me happy so he is okay with it. I still have some lights hung around my bed and some of my snowmen are still out. If it makes me happy, then who cares. We can remember Christmas all year long!

For 2010, I want to add some different ornaments for the main tree. I think we had too many balls on it. We have a huge tree and my husband likes to cover it with ornaments. I will start looking early on the internet.

I also want to add to my music and movie collection. I like to watch movies all year. I recorded alot of Christmas movies and my kids recorded over them. So sad....

Reading your post, I realised that we are very much alike.

Yes, I agree, I love ornaments more than balls.. As years go by, I put on more wooden toys / ornaments and the tree just takes me back to my childhood, exactly what I want..

Now, dont worry about your movies.. There are many websites where you can find a thousand of Christmas films.
p.s.My mum had done that to me and I had lost 5 fav Christmas movies, including White Christmas!!! It was such a shock!!

I haven't made that much plans for this Christmas. But I plan to do something different with the decorations this year becuase every other year they have been the same . Maybe a new spot for the tree this year .
