Tomorrow we're going shopping to get my eldest daughter a halloween costume. I might do a little bit of Christmas shopping, too. I'm also trying on some new running shoes to decide which ones I'd like to get for my birthday. I used to be a serious runner (30 miles a day, 3 days a week and 10 miles a day 2 days of the week) but haven't run for years. I'm going to start running in the evening once the girls are in bed and I'm really looking forward to it - hubby is getting me some decent running shoes for my birthday on the 18th so I'm trying on some different styles and brands tomorrow so that I can let him know in advance which ones to get for me

Sunday we have church and Sunday School as usual and then we're off on a spooky halloweeny train ride, which should be awesome fun

Well, I'm home alone! Husband is working and both daughters are at Halloween parties. I may go and watch the village Halloween parade and costume contest. It was originally scheduled for tomorrow, but was postponed until Sunday due to the weather forecast. A big nor'easter storm is heading up the coastline and is supposed to drop up to 8 inches of snow with 50 mph winds!!! This would be a record snow storm for October.
