    Great Valentines Day Gift Idea

    Hey All,
Wanted to share a great gift idea a friend had mentioned to me. Everyone is looking for a unique and romantic gift to surprise that special person in your life, yet we still want to keep our bank account from a droubt ( especially in this economic time ). Well my friend gave me this idea to personalize a wine label with our old engagement photo on the front. He told me to visit personalwine.com and I did. Turned out to be cheap and unique. They have great bottles of wine for spectacular prices, and the labels turned out so cool. I have hidden the bottle until V-Day but man I cant wait to pull it out and pop that cork. We are going to have a great night. Who knows, add some chocolate and a home cooked meal, maybe ill get a special gift of my own. Hope this helps.

    Thumbs up Nice

So customized alcohol sounded pretty interesting...the fact that you can put any label you want on a bottle of booze is just intriguing. I wanted to take stride and get something for my significant other on VDay so I did some research and found a couple of places that boast the same service....except for one thing: quality. Lots of sites have custom labeling and whatnot...none of them matched the quality you found. Unless you want a really awesome picture on a bottle of cheap trash wine, you were dead on with the site to go to. I was really impressed, and maybe even a little startled, as to the wine list personalwine.com provides. Some decently rated wines for all wallet sizes (and some *really* nice wines for those on trust fund), but what was really awesome is that they had wine from all different appellations, which really just means I don't have to go all over to get what I want (most good wine suppliers will only be from one winery, or one appellation).

Thanks for the tip....and thanks for not posting some dirty step-child site that only *tries* to do what you said.

(also, when you said cheap I got really skeptical, even made me want to find something better and shove it in your face...not only were you advertising a specific site, but you said "cheap"...I feel glad to have been proven wrong)

My Final Verdict: Awesome idea...creative, ingenuitive, nostalgic...you talked about it being a gift idea, but this can actually be used for literally any event/party/celebration/holiday/etc... Thanks...Peace and love,

I am an illustrator and I do a lot of artworks for occasions, Christmas, Mothers day, etc. For Valentines, I did an artwork of me and my girl aged to old folks and all valentined up. I do a lot of these for wedding gifts too. Young couple aged to their 50th anniversary. I also did one of my friend as cupid. Unfortunately for me, I did it on a rush and never took a pic of it. It was so awesomely embarrassing that he won't let me take a shot of it to use on my site. Anyway, I have found that the personal nature of having something created goes a long way.

Travisray, just curious, how did things turn out with the wine label for V-day?
