Did anyone see the "yule log" broadcast Christmas morning on WGN? It was three hours of a roaring fireplace fire set to Christmas music.
I enjoyed it. My understanding is that the yule log TV program started in New York in the 1960s.

'I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future!' Scrooge repeated, as he scrambled out of bed. 'The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me. Oh, Jacob Marley! Heaven, and the Christmas Time be praised for this! I say it on my knees, old Jacob, on my knees!' (Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol)
Yeah - I've lived in NYS my whole life - all 53 years! I remember watching the yule log broadcast as a child. It was a pre-taped program that allowed most of the staff at the station to be home with their families!
