Trying to spell out Merry Christmas on top of my house in Christmas lights. I would like to know how other people have done it. If you have built something or just laid out the lights and stapled them up. I would appreciate any ideas.

I'm looking to do the same thing but in my yard. I am planning on using a pvc frame 3' tall and 2' wide for each letter. anyone else have an idea to add to this?
