Where and How do you display your Christmas Cards?

This will be the first year I get lots so I need some ideas!

Where and How do you display your Christmas Cards?

This will be the first year I get lots so I need some ideas!

I used to take some red string or ribbon and fasten it to a wall or doorway. Then we inherited a wide hall tree so I fastened the ends of the string to hooks on either side of that. But after accumulating so many Christmas decorations, I ended up just collecting them in a basket and not putting them on display. I don't think my grown kids send cards to people. Don't people care anymore?

We dont have that many so ours are just stood on the hearth

But when the kids were little they had loads, so we used to staple to ribbon

and then fix them to the ceiling to drap down..

We have a card holder that hangs on the wall. We leave it up all year long and put up Birthday or other cards as we receive them.

Here's a really nice idea from Martha Stewart...its something different, easy, and not expensive. (Would this count as another tree???)

I don't get as many as I used to. People just don't send them out anymore! I'll usually just display them on the mantel or on my kitchen cupboard shelf (it doesn't have doors).
