We did it about three times. Most Christmas trees have very little scent. A balsam smells good, but the tree farms that we went to didn't grow balsams.
The greatest gift I ever received was wrapped in swaddling clothes.

Excuse me for laughing, but you're right! I remember the Christmas trees at our Florida schools. They were probably young slash pines. But I'm pretty sure there are some tree farms there now that grow shorter-needled trees.

I just found these photos on my computer - it's from when I cut down my very first Christmas Tree in 2005. I only needed a small one (like 6") so I cut off the top of a half-dead one, likely my favorite tree of all time.

nupp:\ xx we always have fake trees and tbh i dont think i would have it anyother way x we have a dog and he would just go crazy if we had a real tree x
