My Dept. 56 New England village(I stopped collecting when I ran out of dresser space):

The greatest gift I ever received was wrapped in swaddling clothes.

    What have I started??? LOL!!

Okay - Fenton glass is a US-made artisan glass that's been around for over 100 years. They do a lot of carnival glass finishes (looks opalescent). My family lives about 3 hours from their manufacturing facility, so it's relatively easy for me to find it. Price-wise, it's relatively inexpensive. My trees cost about $35 apiece for glass figures that stand about 7" tall.

    are they expensive to buy?
Well, I was going to say that they're expensive, but that term is relative. For me, it's as expensive as I dare to go. If I spent any more, my husband would confiscate my credit card.

    YIKES...they've gone up in price:
