I think they are cute. A few look kind of odd, but I like seeing them for the most part. A bigger yard helps, though. Or else it looks a little cluttered.

There's not really much to 'plan' as it were. I do just about the same thing every year. I get out the 'winter' stuff on Remembrance Day, which is November 11th here in Canada, like Veteran's Day...
