He has appeared in various films and has published cook books http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Winner but for me I will remember him most for his 2003 esure advert http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efl5pFTFnBU in which he advised people calm down dear it's only a commercial.
