I love indoor lights. We can't put a dimmer switch in our dining room, so I enjoy having the lights out and just having Christmas lights everywhere. The toy-themed tree was in our dining room last Christmas:

I put a small table top tree (penguin themed) in our bathroom this year. I just love the subtle low light that it gives at night...it is better than any night light!...I haven't taken it down yet! :home:
I used to hang Christmas lights in my room year round when I was young.
