I am in the suburbs of NYC. Our snowfall is extremely variable. Some winters we barely get anything, others- like last year - we had snow on the ground continuosly from Dec 26 through April! Of course no snow on Christmas, but s blizzard the next day (20 inches and high winds). This snowfall was exceptionally rare for October = they say nothing like it since the Civil War!Quote:

WOW! Where I am from, there has only been one year I can remember when there hasn't been snow...it snowed Christmas Eve and melted during the day ;). I am very excited for the snow this year, though! I love sledding and taking long winter walks...it is actually quite a workout!!:snowman:
