This is only my 2nd year here living in the US and I have to say I love living here so far and I do not plan to ever go and live back home..I experienced how the holidays are here in the USA and having a Christmas tree for the first time living here was something for me to remember. In Japan we celebrated much differently..I have to say, I enjoy the American tradition, much better.
Welcome, welcome, welcome! I'm so glad that you like it here and that you are joining us in posting here! Japan has some wonderful holidays(Kodomo-no-hi [Children's Day]), too. And beautiful Mt. Fuji as well as Yoshino cherry blossoms! I love the cherry blossoms in Washington, D. C.
The wheelbarrow is very Fallish!! Nice.
Pictures of Washington State are pretty. My late brother-in-law lived there, but I've never been that far west. I've always lived east of the Mississippi River and only crossed it to nearby states.
The reason I mentioned Washington, D. C. is because the Yoshino cherry trees were a gift to us from Japan and they are incredibly beautiful. The land in D. C. is very flat, but the cherry blossoms are a beautiful sight!
My sister, niece and nephew all live in Washington State. It is a beautiful state - love those mountains
