Thank you NORTHERNLIGHTS. After 9 years it is still a rough day to get through! A friend of mine lost her husband (a firefighter) that day. She struggles with her emotions on every anniversary.
I will never forget the horror I felt when I saw the second plane crash on the tower. When I realised -with the rest of the world- what was going on I remember calling my husband and telling him "the world has changed and it will never be the same again. Nobody is safe anymore". I am so sorry. My heart goes out to the families that suffered and still do.

Webazony - I live in the New York metropolitan area - I know so many pople who lost loved ones - friends of friends, etc. One of my assistants at work lost 5 people she knew personally! Everyone here lost someone they knew. It is so true that it is even more devastating when it hits you personally!
OMG! I'm so sorry to hear that... I don't know what to say... it's been so many years and still gives me the creeps.
Hopefully we'll be peaceful form now on, learning from the past mistakes.
